Dear Parents and Children,
“Do good and do it well.” Venerable Mother Mary Ward.
Simple, yet very profound are these exhortations of our Foundress Venerable Mother Mary Ward not only to her sisters, but to all who collaborate with us, be it our staff, students, parents or associates.
The sisters of the Congregation of Jesus, motivated by her are engaged in different parts of our country and the world reaching out to the needy, doing good for as many people as possible through education, basic health care, environmental protection, counseling, awareness programs, upliftment of the weak and motivating others to do the same. The fundamental objectives of CJ education can be summarized in the words of Mother Mary Ward as doing and teaching others to “Do good and do it well” so that God our Creator is glorified through our lives. In “Do good” lies the invitation for us to be men and women of good conscience who understand the implications of us being social beings who care for others beyond the boundaries of status, occupation, region, race, caste, religion, sex etc.
This being the Jubilee year for Mary Ward Kindergarten, I gratefully acknowledge the contributions of so many sisters, staff, guardians, students and our collaborators in making the dream of Mother Mary Ward come true through this Kindergarten family. May God bless you and your dear ones and may Mary Ward Kindergarten reach greater heights in the service of humanity and the entire creation of God.
